I started my career over 20 years ago in the entertainment sector in SMEs and over the last 7 years I have transitioned my skills and experience into the nonprofit sector. I coach business transformation, taking an organisation from where they are to where they want to be ensuring they have the stability and resources to thrive and not just survive. In addition, I offer extensive strategic expertise in navigating diverse challenges and excel as a solutions-oriented consultant. My approach is deeply inclusive, collaborative, engaging to stakeholders and beneficiaries from grassroots levels upwards and, I contribute to fortifying governance structures. With a talent for envisioning beyond present obstacles or achievements, I serve as a proficient coach and facilitator, adept at guiding others through uncertainty and as a seasoned communicator, I develop and implement peer to peer network and communication strategies that champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the nonprofit sector. I have a keen interest in the intersection between health and its wider determinants. I engage in advocacy efforts aimed at influencing policies that address social determinants of health such as access to education, housing, employment, and healthcare and support community research that examines the impact of social determinants on health outcomes and identifies effective interventions to address disparities.

Community led Participatory codesign of a research project
I co designed the production of a project that explored through the medium of animation how community research approaches helps to tackle health inequality, using the video narration as an outreach tool to engage marginalised communities.
Building capacity and sustainability, social enterprises through Access funding
I supported through a funded Enterprise Development Programme a small number of Black led community business capacity building to develop strategies for sustainability so they could maximise social impact and become better at accessing wider funding opportunities and social investment.
DEI culture change, mental health charity
Building change capacity, identifying and articulating the charity’s values. I supported their Diversity Task Force to help them strengthen their governance and cultural change strategy. Additionally, aiding their senior leadership to embed values of inclusion into their workplace operations through training and a designed framework that enabled effective EDI initiatives, leadership and diverse recruitment strategy.
