I have worked in fundraising for nineteen years, working in both large and small charities. I am experienced in all traditional fundraising disciplines, especially high value partnerships and capital campaigns. I have also supported charities seeking to diversify income from non-traditional fundraising sources. I am accustomed working with senior leaders and board members, devising and implementing short-, medium- and long-term strategy's both in fundraising and marcoms. I am now looking to further my portfolio with specific consultancy projects and interim roles where I can help charities raise crucial funds.

Key Projects:

Recommendations to improve fundraising and marketing, a small disability gaming charity with a local, national and international presence

Delivered a fundraising audit, through strategy, policy, and proposal analysis. In depth interviews were undertaken to understand key challenges, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.  Strategic recommendations included a team restructure, with the creation of new roles.  New income generation and profile raising initiatives were also recommended.

Fundraising strategy review and interim leadership support, an International Independent School.

Working with the leadership team to devise and implement a new short, medium and long term fundraising strategy.  Acquiring, growing and retaining high value supporters was a key deliverable, along with raising the profile of the school through existing and new marketing initiatives.

Strategy development and delivery for a capital campaign, an International college for women and girls

Long term interim support, working with the board and the senior leadership team to develop and implement a capital fundraising strategy to acquire new high value donors for a multi-million pound capital programme.  A targeted peer-to-peer strategy was implemented, leveraging support from board members and senior volunteers. A time-bound innovative fundraising campaign was launched to generate income from individuals and special events.
