I have a wealth of commercial and operational experience in general business and the property sectors. I have strategically developed and managed a wide spectrum of businesses over the last 30 years. I am very commercially astute and entrepreneurially minded with a proven track record in developing companies to become very successful and profitable business operations. I have hands on experience with restructuring, acquisitions and mergers and I bring a wealth of business expertise with strategic vision and a keen eye on the bottom line.

A large part of my career has been in the property sector and I am ARLA qualified. My expertise includes, property investment, property development and acquisition, planning, lettings and housing.

I do hold several non-executive director positions within the property and housing sectors. I am used to providing corporate governance on compliance issues & statutory obligations and provide strategic oversight to the board. I have a true passion for business and property.

Insolvency Restructuring – Social Housing Association

The organisation was on the brink of collapse and working with the executive team, the Housing Regulator, solicitors and specialist advisors, we were able to review the position and form a strategic operational recovery plan ready for implementation.

Business Transfer – Large Lettings Agency

Dealing with a complicated share sale of the business from start to finish, which included working with the solicitors and accountants to ensure all requested information was available, contract review and scrutiny, final execution of the sale.

Business Restructure – Serviced Apartment Operator

Complete restructure of the business model to turn the business around and to show a substantial increase on the bottom line. Implementation of key contracts for the company. The second phase of the project was the sourcing of a suitable premises for redevelopment and the start to finish of managing the conversion from offices into serviced apartments, from design, planning permission, build spec and quotations to completion.
