I chose to move to the charity sector because I wanted to give something back to the community by using all the marketing knowledge and experience I have gained whilst working in the technology industry to help social sector organisations to more effectively deliver their goals.
I have been working within the charity sector for over 5 years after spending the majority of my career marketing technology solutions and services across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. As Marketing and Comms Manager for Eastside Primetimers I help to drive and deliver business development and impact goals of the organisation through marketing and communications activities across all channels.
Before joining Eastside Primetimers, I was Head of Marketing at charitable funder Greenham Trust, raising awareness of its local charitable grants and marketing The Good Exchange, its not-for-profit, on-line funding platform. Previously I have held a variety of senior marketing roles in companies ranging from technology start-ups to established leaders such as Microsoft, IBM and Fujitsu.
I have a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma and a degree in Business Administration from Bath University.
I am married with two children and am a keen runner and athletics coach. I previously represented Great Britain at the World Championships and England at the Commonwealth Games.
