Emma Hodges

I am an experienced senior leader committed to improving health and care systems and services, removing where possible health inequalities and associated power imbalance. I enjoy work related to organisational strategy, service development, organisational behaviour and community development. I am a natural collaborating interested in establishing partnerships and new models of care and services. In addition to chief executive experience, I have a professional background in Human Resources, Organisational Development. I retain a keen interest in workforce planning, EDI and the employment and skills agenda. I hold a doctorate in Health Planning and Management and have an interest in using practical and participatory evaluation methods as a way of understanding innovation, change and impact.

Key Projects:

Engaging a large placed based network in a collaborative project, sponsored by a local authority with a network of sector representatives

This City achieved a particular charter status requiring broad collaboration across all sectors. Helping partners to move to a common understanding and start to embed change in ‘business as usual’ practice.

Supporting Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, Integrated Care Board

Codesign and delivery of a programme of organisational development to support effective team working across system partners focused at place.

Supporting charities on the path to models of collaboration

Supporting two charities to work through their strategic positioning, current state of play and next steps with regards to closer collaboration. Involving desktop analysis, semi-structured interviews and Board away time.
