I am a skilled and approachable HR professional, with over 20 years experience in senior HR roles in the not-for-profit sector. My last employed role was as Director of People and Culture at a medium-sized charity. I have been a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of People Development) for 30 years.

I have delivered a wide range of projects across the whole employee life cycle, from recruitment to exiting the organisation. I love to work with organisations to bring a strong people focus to support achievement of organisational goals and create a great employee experience. I enjoy developing frameworks for projects and processes to support organisational effectiveness or change through aligning them with organisational values and priorities.

Values and behaviours, a medium-sized health charity supporting young people

I lead on a project to identify, capture and describe organisational values. Alongside we developed behaviours that demonstrated the values in action and how they would be embedded.

Pay Structure, a medium-sized health charity supporting young people

I developed a new pay framework that positioned the organisation appropriately within the market place and built in pay progression to recognise skill development and the values in action.

Recruitment, a small plant conservation charity

I overhauled the entire recruitment and selection policy, process and supporting documentation to improve outcomes, ensure compliance and better fit the organisational culture and aspirations.
