Charity: Rochdale and District Mind

Location: Rochdale, Lancashire

Role Type: Board

Work Type: Hybrid

Salary: £400 per day

Eastside People are currently recruiting for an Interim Service Manager for Rochdale and District Mind.

The role is to start asap, 4 days a week or full time (with 2-3 days onsite), for the next couple of months and has come about due to having to divert the current Service Manager onto some other urgent work.

Purpose of role

  • To lead and manage the Operations Managers who manage our service strands which include: crisis services, advocacy services, counselling, community and wellbeing and ethnically diverse communities
  • To support the delivery of the quality assurance framework
  • To contribute to our service offers and sustain confidence, integrity, and multidisciplinary partnerships with various organisations/stakeholders.

Experience required

  • Experience working in mental health or social care service management
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Understanding and experience of the mechanics of service delivery.

This is a busy and hands on role, working with a dedicated and supportive team.
