About Me

With over 20 years experience in the charity sector, and 16 years at Eastside People, I am passionate and knowledgeable about the sector. Starting life as a secondary school teacher, I went on to work at Lloyds’ of London in their Community Affairs team working with partners such as Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership to support children in schools in Tower Hamlets with reading, numbers and mentoring. I then moved to the charity sector with programme management roles at Notting Hill Housing and Shelter.

As Head of Programmes at Eastside People I lead on our programmes and funder plus work to create stronger, more resilient charities and social enterprises. This includes leading on social investment readiness work to help organisations get the right finance and funds to grow their impact.

I have a degree in Middle Eastern Studies (with Comparative Religion) and a PGCE. I am married with one son and enjoy live music, sport and reading.
