I am a data and governance professional with extensive experience in data privacy, systems development, and programme delivery. A Fellow of Information Privacy with CIPP/E, CIPM, and CDMP certifications, I have established and led data privacy, cyber security, and information governance for a national policing programme, including data sharing agreements, policies, risk frameworks, and delivering training and incident management (including ICO reporting). As a civil servant, I managed national policing systems and IT projects. I’ve also volunteered as a Trustee for a CIO during the pandemic, leadership change, and relocation, and as a school Governor, overseeing compliance and data protection. I provide practical data privacy guidance, enabling organisations to focus on their mission while maintaining high standards of data governance.

I designed and managed the delivery of a self-service SAR portal to allow individuals securely access their own data, reducing the number of SAR processed manually by over 95%.

I managed a successful urgent migration programme of a national police system from a failing host, securing Board funding, managing risks, and ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.
