ACEVO Webinar: 2026 Pay & Equalities Survey results. Being a charity CEO – what’s it worth?

Online webinar: 24 November 2026 14:00-15:00

Join us for the launch of the 2026 Pay and Equalities Survey report, where we’ll look at what the data tells us about CEO pay across the sector, and go beyond the numbers to the questions leaders are actually asking themselves: Am I paid fairly? And can I sustain this role in the current climate?

What will be covered:

  • Key findings from the 2026 Pay and Equalities Survey
  • Practical guidance on CEO remuneration — how to benchmark your own pay and make the case
  • The pressures of the charity CEO role right now, and what they mean for sustainability
  • Pay and the chair relationship — including how to raise pay when the relationship is strained

Speakers:

  • Roberta Fusco, head of Influencing, ACEVO — survey findings and remuneration guidance
  • Jane Ide, CEO, ACEVO, in conversation with Gail Scott-Spicer, CEO, Imperial Health Charity
  • Bernice Rook, Eastside People (Pay and Equalities Survey sponsor)

There’ll be 15 minutes for live Q&A, so bring your questions.

Non ACEVO members welcomed, especially those who are:

  • a CEO (or equivalent) of a charity and social enterprise
  • an aspiring CEO
  • a retired chief executive, not operating as a sole trader
  • an out of post chief executive, who is between jobs
  • a member of a partner organisation we are delivering the event with.

At Eastside People, we believe that well-led organisations are better equipped to deliver meaningful change. Effective leadership is at the heart of every successful charity, making the recruitment, development and retention of skilled and experienced CEOs more important than ever.

Richard Litchfield, CEO, Eastside People
