I am a senior consultant advising organizations on mergers and partnerships, business development, strategy and leadership.

An experienced Chief Executive, Chair, Director and consultant, I have over 30 years experience of Government, corporate business, military and the not for profit sector. I have recently stepped down as Chief Executive of the leading employment charity where I led three successful mergers and doubled the size of the charity.

I have held senior roles in industry and government and am Chair of Trustees of a leading Multi Academy Trust of 11 schools and 12,500 students.

I am keen to support charities to be more effective and sustainable through innovative strategy and planning, partnerships and mergers, and good governance.

Successful merger of the two leading military employment charities, RFEA and the Officers’ Association

As CEO led on the strategy and approach planning before leading on detailed project management, trustee briefings, legal and governance issues, TUPE and the Communications Strategy, resulting in a successful merger which rationalised structures, reduced overall overhead costs, enhanced delivery and effectiveness – all to the benefit of beneficiaries.

Successful merger of Heropreneurs and the Forces Employment Charity.

Undertook the detailed planning, project management, legal and due diligence before enabling the transfer to take place. Result was greater consolidation in the sector, stronger partnership work, greater profile and enhanced delivery for the beneficiaries.

Successful incorporation of a TechVets into RFEA.

Conducted initial scoping and planning before transfer resulting in stronger programme governance, more sustainable funding, greater profile and enhanced delivery to the benefit of all clients.
