I am a funding and social investment specialist with over 20 years’ experience working across charities, funders and social enterprises. I have designed and delivered programmes that combine public, private and philanthropic funding, including matched crowdfunding, enterprise grants and blended finance approaches. My work focuses on helping organisations become more financially resilient, and supporting funders to design funding that achieves stronger, longer-term impact.

With Eastside People, I focus on funding strategy, programme design and funder plus support, working with both funders and organisations to develop practical, inclusive approaches that strengthen capacity, unlock new income and support sustainable growth.

Built and scaled national matched crowdfunding programmes, supporting over 1,000 organisations to raise £19m and improving sustainability through funding, skills and community engagement.

Innovative matched crowdfunding campaign, Home is Where the Harm Is – national benevolent charity supporting people in crisis

Designed and delivered an innovative matched crowdfunding campaign with 3 digital platforms partners, raising £30k and enabling rapid, direct grants to 136 survivors of domestic abuse.

Reaching communities funding bid development, CAPA First Response – CIC supporting vulnerable children and families

Reviewed and strengthened a National Lottery funding bid, rewriting and restructuring it to align with priorities, improve clarity and evidence, and increase the strength and credibility of the application.
