I have 25 years’ experience of working with charities and social enterprises; from working on the front-line to leading organisations. I have a strong background in social investment, capacity building and impact evaluation, meaning I can offer both strategic insight and hands‑on operational support to create impactful change. I am particularly motivated to work alongside, senior leaders and community‑led organisations to help translate strategy into delivery, strengthen governance and measure what really matters. My eclectic career means that I’ve not only presented investment proposals to investment committees; I’ve simultaneously worked shoulder to shoulder with community members to tackle local issues. This dual perspective of understanding both boardroom strategy and lived community experience, enables me to bridge gaps that others might miss.

I delivered a social impact report ahead of its four week deadline, by unifying teams, data, and partners. We evidenced impact, and appeased investors and secured a SE UK Award nomination as a result.

I undertook a comprehensive overhaul of contractual documentation, HR processes and working practices to ensure legal compliance and create clearer, more supportive structures for staff and freelance artists. This improved operational efficiency while reflecting the organisation’s strong commitment to its people and co‑production ethos.

Developing membership services to recruit and retain members, a medium VSCE infrastructure charity

I pioneered a five-strand strategy that strengthened membership activities and increased membership by 20%. Following a comprehensive review of membership services and a robust consultation exercise with member organisations, my strategy involved developing targeted events, creating a mentorship programme for charity leaders, and establishing a resource-sharing platform for members.
