I am a Transformation Consultant supporting charities and purpose-driven organisations to stabilise, reset and grow during periods of challenge and change. As a former Chief Executive, I bring over 20 years’ cross-sector experience, working with boards, CEOs and leadership teams to restore alignment, rebuild trust and strengthen organisational performance.

My work combines diagnostic rigour (as a Chartered Accountant) with organisational development practice and leadership coaching, enabling me to address both the structural and human dimensions of change. I help organisations clarify governance, strengthen systems and culture, and support leaders to lead with confidence through complexity.

I am known for a care-and-candour approach and am often engaged when organisations are under pressure—facing growth strain, governance challenges, funding risk or leadership transition. My approach is practical, collaborative and outcome-focused, helping organisations move from drift or crisis to stability, credibility and sustainable impact.

Financial & organisational stabilisation

Supported a rapidly growing organisation to address weaknesses in financial controls, governance and funder readiness. Worked with senior leaders to diagnose risk, rebuild financial controls and procedures, clarify restricted funding and strengthen accountability and reporting.

Interim transformation & operational reset

Stabilised operations during a period of organisational expansion and new commissioning. Addressed leadership overload and silo working by supporting senior recruitment, resetting culture and embedding leadership and management systems to improve organisational grip and reduce reliance on individuals.

Governance reset & board effectiveness

Worked with an organisation experiencing governance / operational tensions and reduced board effectiveness. Delivered governance diagnostics, facilitated board and staff reset conversations, clarified roles and responsibilities, and developed an improvement plan aligned to governance best practice.
