Trustee Opportunity at Lymphoma Action

Can you offer us your insight, and your marketing, communications, or campaigns expertise, to support us as we lead bold campaigns to drive reach, growth and long-term sustainability?

If you also have vision, enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills, we would love you to join us as a Trustee at Lymphoma Action!

This is a rewarding opportunity to join our charity at an exciting stage of our development. Your professional skills will be invaluable in supporting our work – making sure that no one faces Lymphoma alone.

Over several years, we have been investing in our Communications Team to drive social media engagement, grow our PR function and digital presence. As a Trustee, you will help us challenge ourselves as we grow our influence and impact.

Who are Lymphoma Action?

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to lymphoma, the most common blood cancer. We’ve been providing trusted information and support since 1986, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma.

What matters to Lymphoma Action?

Our vision is that everyone affected by lymphoma will receive the best possible support, treatment and care. Through information, education, support and influence, we will make sure no-one has to face their lymphoma alone.

Our values ensure that we reach our goals by being focused, empowering, trusted, innovative and collaborative.

If you join us at Lymphoma Action…

You’ll join a Board generously supporting our work, providing mission-driven leadership and strategic governance. We develop our organisation’s aims, objectives and goals, ultimately shaping the direction of our charity.

We welcome your good independent judgement and willingness to speak your mind, while collaborating with your fellow Trustees. You’ll bring the capacity to understand, as well as to empathise with the issues and concerns of those affected by lymphoma.

Particularly, we are seeking people who embrace our values and behaviours, in addition to having skills in marketing, communications, or campaigns. You’ll be curious and open to new ideas, along with being inclusive, treating everyone as an equal and embracing diversity.

Please make sure you read our Candidate Information Pack before applying. It contains important details about the role and our organisation.

Don’t think you quite meet all the specifications? Please don’t count yourself out. We’d still love to learn more about your interest in joining Lymphoma Action!

If you have specific questions about the role or the application process, please contact Lucinda Shaw, [email protected] to arrange a call. Having a call of this kind will not influence the success or otherwise of your application.

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential. If you have a disability or require reasonable adjustments during the application or interview process, please contact us so we can support you appropriately.
