Deputy CEO

Working with Eastside People allows me to combine my skills and experience in talent spotting, my commercial expertise and my social conscience, all whilst working with a great bunch of people!

I have worked in recruitment, talent assessment and the human side of organisations throughout my career, initially in the private sector and for the past 15 years in the charity and social enterprise sector.  As the Deputy CEO at Eastside People, I lead on our recruitment services, workforce and culture consultancy and also manage people related aspects across the organisation.

We have developed a values led executive search and charity recruitment service at Eastside People and believe passionately in offering an inclusive, people centred and creative recruitment approach.

I have always had a passionate interest in people;  my first degree was in Psychology, followed by a master’s degree in Occupational Psychology.  I have a genuine passion for helping organisations find exceptional candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and am a founding trustee at Board Racial Diversity UK, an organisation that seeks to address the under-representation of people from minoritised ethnic groups on trustee boards.

 

I’m married with two children and love spending quality time with my family and friends, as well as going to the gym and reading when time allows it.
