I am an experienced charity CEO with deep expertise in leadership, culture and governance. Working in both domestic and international charities I have a strong track record in growing impactful, success-oriented organisations and championing values-driven, inclusive cultures.

Drawing on 25 years of executive and trustee experience in medium and large charities, I help leaders, boards and staff teams to navigate periods of change, crisis and opportunity. I work flexibly with organisations to provide support tailored to them. That might be interim leadership, an independent assessment for boards seeking options in challenging times, governance advice, strategy development, or expert support to leaders and trustees during periods of transition.

Key Projects:

Culture and Leadership Review, medium-sized charity working with women survivors of modern slavery

Brought in during a period of leadership crisis, I undertook an urgent programme of 1-2-1 interviews and desk research to deliver a detailed review of organisational culture and behaviours, and provide a suite of recommendations to address the issues identified.

Strategic planning and team development, national ministry of health in sub-Saharan Africa

Worked for three months with a multi-disciplinary local team to support them to create a strategic communications plan for a national launch of new digital health records, while also developing their skills in communications planning and implementation.
