I work with Charities and not for profits focusing on strategic development and long-term organisational development and strategic planning. I specialise in strategic leadership, including working with Trustee Boards and governance, coaching and mentoring, facilitation, partnership development (including the strategic development of joint ventures and mergers) and change management. I work with a wide range of organisations including youth, education, social enterprise, charities/CIOs and start ups.
I spent 20 years as a Charity Chief Executive, have a History degree, post graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and an FE Teacher’s Certificate. I’m also a qualified Executive Coach, Mediator (with a workplace mediation specialism) and Myers Briggs Practitioner

Key Projects:

Reachfor Joint Venture

Following significant loss of government funding for careers advice and guidance, brought together eleven similar not for profit organisations into a Joint Venture for joint bidding, shared services, product and service development and strategic support

Strategic restructuring, large charity needing to reduce in size

Dramatic reconfiguration of business required due to changing nature of contracts, included significant internal restructuring, bringing in external expertise, managing Trustees and considering new options such as a merger.

Establishing a social impact bond, lead charity and partnership of various not for profit organisations

One of the first five in the country, included finding a suitable intermediary, winning the support of investors, establishing partnership approach to service delivery and culture change to deliver a very different way of working, winning Government contract to deliver.
